Among the standouts on the menu, the Ube Pound Cake is a must-try for those seeking a blend of traditional flavor and modern twist. Priced at $8.00, this dessert encapsulates the essence of Filipino sweet delights, offering a moist texture and rich, earthy flavor. The Egg Tart ($4.00) also deserves a spotlight for its perfect crust and creamy filling, a simple yet unforgettable indulgence.
A variety of beverages complements the desserts. One customer raved about their Corn Latte, praising its creamy foam and unique flavor, offering a refreshing twist on your typical coffee experience. Another guest noted the matcha eispanner as a worthwhile choice, albeit with a touch of sweetness that may not suit every palate.
What truly makes About Time shine is its inviting ambiance and the evident dedication of the staff. Many patrons describe the service as friendly and accommodating, creating a warm environment that makes each visit feel special. Although some have noted that the Wi-Fi can be inconsistent, the vibrant atmosphere encourages a social experience rather than a strictly work-focused one.

“ pretty good! inside was so cute. pretty quiet and spacious with tables to study. a little busy though even though we came in the evening, so if u r coming to study make sure to come early if u want a table. I got the matcha eispanner and my friend got the corn latte. the corn latte was soooo good. the foam was nice and creamy and the corn tasted added a nice finishing touch. the matcha eispanner was not badd. but I definitely had better matcha for cheaper. the cream kinda tasted like vanilla ice cream. I think it was too sweet for my liking. I prefer more bitter, smooth tasting matchas, but the matcha still was tasty. ”
“ I've been here a few times. It's worth going but it does get full. I went on a Monday and the customer service was amazing. The person attending me was so nice and sweet. I really like the vibe that he had. A lot of college students just trying to get their work done, but it is very social at the same time. So if you're looking for a quiet place, you might wanna look elsewhere. However, if you are ready to get in the zone, this is a great place. Wifi is not reliable. Countless times I am unable to access work and school websites. I know it's not just me. ”
“ I drove 30 minutes out to go here to go Labubu hunting with my daughter. The parking is easy because they have a lot. If the lot is full, you can easily find meter parking on the street. This place is such a cute, modern coffee shop. I saw a lot of college students working on their laptops. There's plenty of seating, outside, and upstairs as well. There also is a cool photobooth! The staff was very nice and professional. He owner (I'm assuming) was such a nice guy, he was very kind. I can see why this place is thriving. I was happy with what I purchased: the hazelnut latte, strawberry milk, and a chocolate croissant. Their "to-go" packaging is nice and mostly paper products. Their "for here" trays and styling are impeccable. I appreciate this place so much. I will try and come back whenever I can. ”
“ Checked out this place around nighttime and got the ube drink which was pretty good. This place is popular as its also next to a pocha, so its pretty packed. But overall, line moved fast, theres lots of seating, and drinks are good!! ”
“ The inside and exterior is pretty cozy and welcoming. It is a great place to bring your laptop to study/work because of the ambiance. Finding free parking was difficult but there is a parking lot next door that does valet (at night). The Creme Brûlée donut tasted average and shouldn't cost $9. I had more expectation for it and it fell short. The matcha latte tasted great and the turnover on drinks were fast. ”
“ LOVELOVELOVE everything about About Time!!!! Located in the heart of LA Ktown, this Korean coffee shop has its own parking lot and is located in a beautiful historic building. The atmosphere is amazing- when you walk in you literally feel like you've stepped into Seoul! Super modern and chic decor and vibe-y Kpop playing sets the perfect soothing scene. The menu has tons of choices, from made to order drinks, sandwiches, and plenty of baked goods. I've yet to try anything I didn't love! Service was super helpful and friendly! Like anywhere else in Ktown, outside food and drink are not allowed. To me that's common sense but I guess there was a social media post complaining about that- just don't be tacky and try to but cake from another coffee shop and sit here because it's nicer than where you were before! Anywho, there's also branded merch and plenty of tables both inside and outside! The next time you're in Ktown, this is the perfect place for tea/coffee and a pastry! It's now officially my go-to when in LA! ”
“ I learned about this cafe from my kids, They follow the trends and it's popping up that if you go to this cafe in Ktown they hide ( Labubu ) around so you can find them. I went looking to find them, after not finding any I ask the guy behind the counter he said they had all been found but if I bought something I could get some Anime toys. I bought a 12 dollar chicken sandwich on a small brioche bun the same size as a kings Hawaiian roll. The bread was great and the chicken salad itself had a good flavor but I'm simple I could have done with out the grape half's and slivered Almonds was not needed. The place was nice plenty of free parking. About time is two levels do plenty of d as pace to eat, drink and socialize, but come ready to pay its not cheap for this photo social media location This place is not for me but it's worth try ”
“ We visited About Time on a Saturday at 10:20 PM, and it was packed! Many people were studying or working, creating a lively yet focused atmosphere. We loved the aesthetic and how spacious the café was, but unfortunately, all the indoor seats were taken. We ended up sitting outside, and to our surprise, it was right next to a bar playing cool music. Impressively, you couldn't hear the bar noise from inside the café--definitely a nice touch! Now, onto the drinks! We ordered the Matcha Einspanner and the Ube Einspanner. The matcha had a great flavor, though I personally would have preferred it unsweetened. The ube drink was also good, but we wished the ube flavor was more pronounced. That said, we still enjoyed the overall coffee taste. Parking was super easy with valet for $5, and since they close super late, it's a perfect spot for night owls. Overall, we'd definitely come back if we're in the area--just hoping to snag a seat inside next time! ”
“ love this place. great ambience, great music. a place where beautiful strawberry matchas are made :) ”
